Timber (4x2) - 2.4m - Pack of x110

This pack contains 110 lengths of 47 x 100mm C24 treated timber, each cut to 2.4m. That gives 264 linear metres of the UK's most widely used framing size, in a length that matches standard room heights. Studs for a typical 2.4m ceiling can be cut from each length with very little offcut, saving time and waste on large partition and stud wall jobs. Shorter lengths are also easier to carry through a house, load into a van and stack on tight sites. Every length is kiln dried for stability, high-pressure treated with Tanalith E (or similar) against rot and insect attack, and strength graded to C24. Regularising by planing all round gives consistent dimensions and eased edges, so walls go up flat and true. All our softwoods are responsibly sourced.

Working With Treated Timber

Any cut ends, notches or drilled holes should be re-sealed with a proprietary end grain preservative to keep the treatment effective.
