Our pressure treated timber SHIPLAP planed tongue and groove boards are ideal for making your own garden buildings – sheds, summer houses, playhouses, kennels etc The finished size is 16mm x 120mm – but this will vary with weather conditions The timber is carefully selected from sustainable, certified, slow grown forests to ensure we meet your quality and environmental requirements Our SHIPLAP is pressure treated for extra long life. When the timber is treated it swells – it is important to bear this in mind when constructing your buildings. The drier the timber when you install it – the less issues you will have with shrinkage in the summer months. Please note: Thickness and width are expressed in mm e.g. 19 x 125mm. This is known as the nominal measure. The actual or finished size of an item is the size after planing, and will generally be about 3-4mm less (dependent on weather conditions) than the nominal size e.g. a 19x125mm cladding board will actually finish at roughly 16 x 120mm
